My Bonnie Charters is located in historic South Norwalk, Connecticut, just 10 minutes from I-95, less than an hour's drive from Manhattan.  See below for  driving directions and more information.

RATES FOR HALF-DAY CHARTERS

bulletNote: Mate's Fee additional - 15-20% - Minimum Gratuity: $50.

        Maximum Number of Passengers: Six*

No more than 4 adults and 2 children or any similar combination, but not more than four adults.

 

We can accept only cash or personal checks--no credit card payments. 
 Checks should be made payable to Captain Sal Tardella.  Thank you.

WHAT TO BRING ALONG WITH YOU
Wear sneakers or boat shoes, please.
Bring sunscreen and sunglasses and a hat with a visor. 
 A light jacket is a good idea, even in warm weather. 
 Your bottled beverages can be stored in the boat's insulated box. 

      Note: If you plan to take home your catch, bring along a cooler          with some ice, (and leave it in your vehicle.)

 

               Directions to My Bonnie Charters

          NORTHBOUND I-95
Take Exit 14, South Norwalk.  Make right turn at Stop sign at top of ramp (Fairfield Avenue.)  Stay on Fairfield and make an easy left turn at the traffic light at the bottom of the hill. Cross over Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and proceed through two more lights on Washington Street. (You’ll pass the library, post office, and Klaff’s on your right.)  When you're at the third light (Water Street) you're facing the Straffolino Bridge. (The Maritime Aquarium is on your left, and Bulldog Restaurant is on your right.) Make a right turn onto Water Street. Stay on Water Street past the marinas and the Water Department building on your left. Go straight past the Stop sign at Burritt Avenue, and Water Street becomes Quintard Avenue.  Stay on Quintard until you can go no further (Long Island Sound is still on your left.)  Make a right turn at end of Quintard and then your first left turn onto Woodward Avenue. (Industrial buildings will be on your right.)  Stay on Woodward 3/10 of a mile. Make a right turn just past the playground onto Dock Rd (Village Creek.)  There's a DEAD END sign there.  Stay on Dock Road until you see tennis courts on your left and an open field on your right.  Make a right turn there and continue around the rotary.  Park in the lot on your right.

            SOUTHBOUND I-95
Take Exit 16 (East Avenue/Norwalk left lane.)  Make a left turn off the ramp and proceed on East Avenue past Rite-Aid, Penny’s Diner, St. Thomas Apostle Church, and under railroad trestle. Continue just past United Methodist Church to VanZant Street and make a right turn.  Go as far as you can on VanZant, and then make a left turn at the Stop sign. You’ll come to a traffic light just before the Straffolino Bridge.  Cross the bridge and you'll be on Water Street.  Make a left turn at the light, and follow directions above to Quintard and beyond.

            COMING SOUTH/SOUTHEAST FROM DANBURY, ETC.
Take I-84E to Exit 3 (RTE 7 - NORWALK.) Stay on Route 7 all the way through Wilton (about 33 miles) and then make right turn onto the Route 7 Connector (Just past Wal-Mart and Hilton Hotel and Connecticut Motor Vehicle Bureau—all on your left.) Take the  exit marked S.NORWALK/MARITIME AQUARIUM off of the Connector. At bottom of winding ramp make a right turn at Stop sign. (West Avenue.) Move into left lane, and make left at 4th light (North Main Street.) Stay on N. Main (you’ll pass Habana Restaurant, Crown Movie Theatre, Kazu Japanese Restaurant, and you’ll be at a railroad trestle on Washington Street at your 3rd light. Make left turn onto Washington Street and go one block to Water Street (Straffolino Bridge is ahead of you, Maritime Aquarium is on your left, and Bulldog Restaurant is on your right.) Make a right turn onto Water Street, and follow directions from Water Street above.
